strongly believe in trying to give back as much as we take
from this world. And because of this sentiment Davis (Produce)
Ltd will be giving 10% of its profits directly to HELP charities,
and in particular Worship International, based in Louth, who
aim to help people in Eastern Europe and in poorer nations
of the world.
This does not have any bearing upon the price that we are able to offer, as we will always remain competitive. But what it does mean is that your custom is not only appreciated by us, but will make a difference to others. Our Spanish office offers the direct link with local growers of both organic and conventional products from the growing heartlands of Spain. Our on-site quality controller can assure that the product leaves in optimum conditions and furthermore our dedicated fleet of lorries makes sure that the goods arrive on time. Our growers are selected for their performance and quality and are working towards Eurepgap within the next few months. In Lerida we have a sub office that is open from May until December and from here we pack for the Danish, Norwegian and UK stores and outlets.
We aim to make sure that whatever is exported from us arrives to you, the importer, in excellent condition with the maximum shelf life possible. We are able to pack in your own brand, and subject to quantities and grading are able to offer you a seasonal price. Furthermore our office in Spain also handles the exports from Corsica of honey, dried prunes and apricots, and together with Tramier can offer retail packs, catering packs and snack packs of many dried fruits.
